I\u2019ve practiced sports since I was a child, so choosing the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports was a natural step,\u201d says Paul Barta, a graduate of the class of 2002. He still remembers clearly: \u201cIt was the best choice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>A professional path built with consistency and dedication<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From the very beginning, his career remained closely connected to sports. In 2003, he started as a Physical Education and Sports teacher \u2014 the first step in a career that would combine pedagogy with sports management: \u201cThis profession gave me a solid foundation and a great deal of professional satisfaction.\u201d Between 2012 and 2019, Paul held the position of school inspector for Physical Education and Sports within ISJ Arad, directly contributing to the development of school sports in the county.<\/p>\n<p>Later, he returned to teaching as a tenured teacher at the National High School of Informatics in Arad.<\/p>\n<p>Since January 2022, following a national competition for leadership positions in pre-university education, he has been the director of the \u201cGloria\u201d School Sports Club in Arad \u2014 a role in which he combines sports management with his teaching experience.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, he continues to work directly with children: \u201cThe specialization I gained during university also allows me to work as a coach. In the football section, I train three groups of children \u2014 an activity that gives me tremendous energy. Watching them grow and develop\u2026 it\u2019s an immense satisfaction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Student years: freedom, beautiful chaos, and lasting friendships<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Speaking about his time at UVVG, Paul recalls it with nostalgia: \u201cThe feeling of total freedom \u2014 long nights with classmates, passing exams together, jokes that only made sense back then\u2026 It was a mix of chaos and enthusiasm, where we felt that anything was possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Professors who shape character<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Paul expresses his gratitude to the entire teaching staff: \u201cI thank all the professors who contributed to my development and assure them of my utmost respect.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Their rigor shaped his work ethic: \u201cThey were demanding, detail-oriented, and sometimes strict. But it was precisely through this strictness that they taught us what real progress means: consistency, perseverance, seriousness, honesty, and hard work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Message for UVVG students:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u201cEnjoy your student years and make the most of every opportunity. There will be challenging moments, but every effort counts. Be consistent, curious, and open to learning \u2014 not only from courses, but also from experiences, mistakes, and people. These years shape you not only as professionals, but as individuals.
