The “Vasile Goldis” Western University of Arad, founded 23 years ago, through its 6 faculties, doctoral and postdoctoral schools, with over 10000 students, master students and PhD students, constantly tries to promote the quality of educational process, the research and the performance at an international level, combining tradition and innovation.
Our University recognizes the new paradigms in health as a priority and, through the interesting topics of this Autumn Course, tries to be scientifically relevant for the specialists in the main domains targeted and also for those from relied specialties, thus having the possibility to meet national and international excellent specialists.
We benefit from the scientific support of Egon and Ann Diczfalusy Foundation and of the University of Szeged and the University of Novi Sad, which fulfilled our good collaboration, but we benefit also from the prestigious presence of other high recognised academic institutions like: Sapienza University of Rome, University of Wien, University of Kragujevac, Timisoara, Oradea.
On this occasion we have the honor to award the great academic distinction of Doctor Honoris Causa to Professor Tihomir Vejnović from the University of Novi Sad, internationally recognized personality in the obstetrics and gynecology domain, professor, researcher and innovator, pioneer and very fond of the values of our University.
