She left Germany to study medicine in Arad, and today she practices there again as a resident physician. Her journey is closely tied to Vasile Goldiș Western University (UVVG) in Arad, from which she graduated in 2023, and toward which she feels profound gratitude. “UVVG gave me much more than medical knowledge. It was the place where I learned what responsibility, teamwork, and engagement truly mean. I am grateful to the people who shaped me and encouraged me to believe that dreams can become reality.”

Born in Blaubeuren, Germany, she chose to come to Romania to attend the General Medicine Faculty at UVVG, a decision influenced by the recommendation of a friend who was then a student: “She would always tell me, with great enthusiasm, about the university and about Arad. She convinced me from the start, and I never regretted my choice for a single moment.”

Currently, she is a third-year resident physician in the Cardiology/Internal Medicine department at a hospital in Germany, a position she obtained following a summer internship during her fourth year of medical school. That experience confirmed her professional direction and later led to a job offer: “The summer internship was a key moment for me. It showed me that I was on the right path and that I wanted to become a cardiologist.”

Her student years remain deeply connected to people and the relationships built beyond the classroom. Her fondest memories are those spent with colleagues after classes, over coffee, as well as the graduation ceremony itself. “When I walked on stage holding the rector’s hand, after giving my speech, I felt a strong emotion. It was a validating moment that has stayed with me.”

Involvement in the Student League and volunteer activities, especially at the Arad Emergency Department, complemented her professional training. “I really enjoyed organizing volunteer activities, especially alongside Dr. Radu Jipa. I felt that we could make a real impact.” Among the professors who shaped her, Prof. Dr. Radu Jipa holds a special place for his rigor, clarity, and dedication.

For today’s students, her message is simple and sincere: “Enjoy your student years, get involved, and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Medicine is not just exams and shifts—it’s about people, teamwork, and passion.”
